Child Car Seat Inspection Program
Using a child safety seat correctly is essential to offering the best protection possible to a child traveling in a motor vehicle. Residents can have their child seat installation checked locally at:

Please make sure that children are properly protected while traveling in a motor vehicle. Get seats examined and then drive sober, safe and buckled.

Street Use Permits
Residents wishing to hold residential block parties, please complete the Street Use Application for Permit and bring to police headquarters.
Temporary Handicap Placards
Applications for Temporary Handicap Placards may be obtained through New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission’s website https://www.state.nj.us/mvc/pdf/vehicles/SP-68.pdf or in person between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm at the Clark Police Department.
Temporary Handicap Placard Applications must be submitted in person, to the local Police Department.
Requesting individuals must complete the application, have a doctor complete the appropriate application portion and submit a check or money order in the amount of $4.00 payable to: NJ Motor Vehicle Commission
Temporary Handicap Placards are effective for a period of six (6) months from the date-of-issue.
